Meet the Vinter: Arron Bell

Arron Bell brings over two decades of world-class winemaking experience—and a deep love for Oregon—to his role as Owner and Winemaker at RH Wines.

A Newberg native and University of Oregon graduate, Arron has spent his career refining his craft both locally and abroad, working with some of the most respected names in the industry.

In 2002, Arron joined Domaine Drouhin Oregon (DDO), where he played a key role in the winery’s success over the course of 23 Oregon vintages and 3 in Burgundy, France. Working closely with Véronique Drouhin, he helped shape the elegant, age-worthy wines that made DDO internationally renowned.

As Assistant Winemaker, he managed daily production operations and led a skilled cellar team, earning a reputation for thoughtful, precise winemaking grounded in tradition and terroir.

Now, at RH Wines (formerly Redhawk), Arron begins a new chapter—one that’s deeply personal. Together with his partner, Tracey Rogers, he is proud to steward the next generation of a beloved Willamette Valley winery, rooted in community and elevated by a new vision

Arron’s winemaking at RH Wines is defined by care, clarity, and connection to the land. With the launch of the RH Select series, he continues to craft wines with character, balance, and a finish that lingers—just like the moments shared over a great bottle.
